Can't find your answer? Send a request and ask.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. CoreWrench works by appointment, which keeps your device from sitting in a queue. Send a request with what's going on and we'll follow up to arrange a time for drop-off, pickup and delivery and on-site visits.

My device isn't listed. Can I still ask?

Yes. Choose Other on the request form and describe the device and the problem. We'll tell you whether it's something CoreWrench can safely and reasonably take on.

Ask about another device

Do you supply parts?

It depends on the job. We can recommend and source parts, and compatible parts you've already bought are generally fine to bring. We'll confirm compatibility before installing anything.

Can you build a PC from parts I already purchased?

Yes. Send the parts list with your request and we'll check compatibility before the build. Assembly includes cable management, BIOS setup, drivers and stability testing.

Custom builds and upgrades

Do you work on custom-built gaming PCs?

Yes, including systems you built yourself. No POST, crashes under load, thermals, memory instability and upgrades are all common requests.

Gaming PC repair

Do you provide on-site tech support?

Yes, for jobs that make sense on-site, like Wi-Fi, printers, home office setup and new device setup. Some hardware repairs are better done on the bench, and we'll tell you which is which.

How much will my repair cost?

It depends on the device and what's wrong. You'll get a diagnosis and a price before any billable repair work begins. Parts are additional unless stated otherwise.

How long will it take?

It depends on the diagnosis, whether parts need to be ordered and the current workload. You'll get a realistic estimate once we know what the problem is.

Should I send my passwords with the request?

No. Never put passwords, PINs, card numbers or recovery codes in the request form or in email. If access is needed for a repair, we'll talk through the safest way to handle it.

Still have a question?

Send the details and we'll get back to you.
